Underestimate Kim Jong Un at your own risk! I begin this article by saying that I am not a friend of war. I do not like war and war is not good for any society. The world is staring at the possibility of a third world war after Kim’s speech that was dated July 27th, 2022. The tension is high and I will tell you why.
Pyongyang, North Korea’s capital is set to conduct its 7th nuclear test. Kim made this announcement while celebrating the anniversary of the end of the Korean War. During his remarks, he warned that his country is ”fully prepared” for any military conflict with the United States of America.
This is not the first time that Kim is warned the USA. The United States President is yet to respond to the claims made by his North Korean counterpart. It seems that Biden has a lot of work to do owing to the fact that he is currently battling an infection from COVID-19 and at the same time speaking to China’s President Xi Jinping as tension grows over Taiwan.
In his speech, Kim has continuously boosted his military prowess, especially by boasting in his country’s nuclear weapons, indicating that he is more than ready to fight the USA. Adding to that, he said that the South Korean government should not think of taking on him militarily, thinking they will win as they are highly mistaken.
South Korea continues to collaborate with the USA in conducting various military operations around the North Korean Border, a thing that constantly brings South and North Korea tologger ends. Let’s see how this turns out to be. I hope you all keep safe.
