Its more shocking to learn that some of these courses are even being offered in more established Universities in the country that ought to be accredited, of the likes of University of Nairobi and JKUAT that have a number of unapproved courses.

Njoro’s Egerton University is at the top of the list, having five unapproved engineering courses. They include: Civil and Environmental engineering, electrical and control engineering, civil and structural engineering, mechanical engineering and technology as well as Manufacturing engineering. Kenyatta University follows closely having four unapproved engineering courses including the famous petroleum Engineering.
