Yet another Kenyan boy is skyrocketing the airways after going viral on super sport! Can you imagine the type of fame, awards and traffic that comes with being aired on a live interview at super sport? Well, i think I should begin with explaining that super sport is probably the largest sports news company in the world with key stakes in Europe’s top five leagues that include the English Premier League, the Laliga, the Italian Seria A and the German Bundesliga. Our boy, Arap Uria is the new talk in London, for the following reasons.
Arap Uria whose real name isMeshack Kiprop Biwott is a former student of Masinde Muliro University of science and technology(MMUST). Upon graduation, he begun a YouTube channel that mimics great football commentary from Peter Drury especially on the English Premier League matches.
His moment to shine came when he recently imitated a video of Peter Drury’s commentary during the AS Roma’s champions league come back against Barcelona. Just like that, the Video went viral and Peter Drury himself wants to meet the kenyan boy.
In a message to all football fanatics, Drury has echoed that Arap Uria has a great talent and that he(Peter Drury) wishes to meet him in London. Drury went ahead to request that Arap Uria should teach him more skills on how to commentate. The master requesting the student for tips is breathtaking. What a moment!
It is not the first time Arap Uria’s videos are going viral. He has been imitating the high and the mighty in the society.
