Revealed: Acres of Land and Expensive Property Owned by the Moi Family: The Moi Family is no doubt one of the richest in the Country, owning many acres of land that are spread throughout the country. The family that is led by Gideon Moi still continue to make more wealth through the expansion of their multi-billion investments. On our section of who owns Kenya, we focus on the wealth of this family. It should be noted that Daniel Moi, the founder of the family was the head of state and government in Kenya for a record period of 24 years. Through the period, he has accumulated the following wealth. It is estimated that the family is worth close to 335 Billion Kenyan Shillings. Here are their properties:

1.Large shares in Local and International Banks:

Moi was a real investor in the banking sector. The family has millions of shares in Transnational bank, First American Bank, Equity Stock Brokers and the Sovereign group among many others.

2.Ownership of the Vast Standard Group PLC.

Moi and Family are the largest shareholders of the standard Group Plc that owns the KTN, KTN news, Radio Maisha, Vybez Radio and the Spice Radio. They also run the Nairobian and the Standard Newspaper. That is quite a large amount of Money.

3.Transport Companies.

Their investment in the transport sector has been termed as Massive. They own the Kent Ship, Eagle airlines, Siginon Group, Car Track Kenya, Mashive shares in the CMC holdings as well as the Kenya Aerotech.

5.Agriculture:

Sasine Group of farms, Chumusian Company, Sian rose, Fresh Produce Limited as well as the vast Kiptagich Tea estate in Nakuru County.

6.Eductaion Sector

They own the Moi Education centre, the Sancho High school, Kabarak High school and the University. They are also the owners of Sunshine National school and the Moi Africa Insitute in Kabarnet.

7.Chunks of Land.

They have over 20,000 acres of land in Bahati, Nakuru County, 1600 acres in Kabarak, 50,000 acres in Ol Pejeta as well as over 20,000 acres in Molo among many others.

We are  not yet through with Moi’s vast wealth. That is just a nut shell but as of now, allow me to end at that point.

I would like to comment that the price of car insurance differs from one scheme to another, simply because there are so many different facets which contribute to the overall cost. For instance, the make and model of the car will have a tremendous bearing on the cost. A reliable ancient family motor vehicle will have a less expensive premium when compared to a flashy sports vehicle.
