Its never a dull day in Kenya! Welcome from whichever part of the world you are reading this from. A section of Kenyans seem to be angered by the latest move made by the Health CAS Dr.Mercy Mwangangi. It might not concern them directly, but they seem to be bothered and unpleased. Here is the reason.
Mercy Mwangangi is one of the Vocal and the Youthful CAS’ in the country. She has kept Kenyans informed with the latest COVID-19 pandemic updates since the early days of the pandemic to date. While addressing the public on Wednesday march 23rd, Mercy appeared to have chopped her hair before dying it platinum blonde.
Mercy debuted the new hairstyle during a briefing by the ministry of health in Afya House, where she announced that more than 800,000 dozes of Astrazeneca vaccine had expired and more than 1 million will expire in the next three weeks if Kenyans won’t turn up for vaccination.
We are used to see Mercy Mwangangi in fancy top-notch weaves, wigs and very expensive braids. She has taken a you turn and entered into the era of short-cropped hair that has been dyed white in color. Kenyans cant keep calm, with some claiming that he hairstyle looks gorgeous and others rubbishing it, claiming that she looks horrific. Kenyans have felt that the hairstyle is ”too much”. It should be remembered that Dr.Mercy Mwangangi is an alumni of the University of Nairobi where she graduated with a Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery in the year 2009 and was later an intern at Machakos Level V hospital in 2010. Thanks for reading.
