I will take my case in this instance: I once tried to delete my account, yet it made me feel exhausted about how I could do so. In this blog, I have covered how to delete your Instagram account.
1. Access Your Instagram Account:
This is the very first step to always take before even thinking of anything to do with deleting your account. You will first need to access your account at any moment. This is by logging in to your account.
2. Navigate to the “Help Center”
After the login, scroll your phone or the device that you are using and go to the help center. Take a look and click the button on the right corner of your profile picture.
3. Find the “Account” Section:
When you click the right-corner button, you will be able to find the account section. This is after selecting the help center. While in the help center, search for the account delete.
4. Review the Account Deletion Page:
Find the link that is related to account deletion. In this instance, Instagram will provide you with some basic information about account deletion. Opt for account deletion and not account deactivation.
5. Choose “Permanently Delete My Account”:
When you find the option for account deletion, carefully review the information and then click the link that will be provided there below. At this moment you should note that there is a difference between account deletion and account deactivation.
6. Enter Your Password
Immediately after you opt for the account deletion, you will be provided with an option to provide your Instagram password to ensure the security verification is done.
7. Confirm Your Deletion
After you have provided your Instagram password, you will be provided with the final confirmation of the screen which you will have to review carefully then you can click on delete and at this moment your account will be permanently deleted.
