Celebration in UDA as 30 Kiambu MCA’S Deflect from Jubilee to UDA Party: Kenyan politics are getting better and hotter each day. With less than 150 days to the August elections, we are witnessing more deflections as parties and members are shifting sides each day. In the latest occasion that has happened on the morning of Saturday 12/3/2022, Muranga county assembly has made a political turn that would change the entire mount Kenya region.

Earlier on, it was said that Baba is climbing the mountain but the fact is that Ruto is already on top of the mountain. Similarly, Baba seems to be forcing his way up the mountain while Ruto is already owning the mountain! These are some of the interesting sentiments on the issue of the mountain.

That aside, more than 30 Kiambu MCAs Led by Speaker Hon Stephen Ndichu today deflected from their former Jubilee party to Join the UDA camp. Receiving them at the Hustler Centre, Deputy president William Ruto has signaled that UDA is getting better and stronger with time.

This comes days after Uhuru and the entire Jubilee party tried to revive their party by rebranding it and joining the Azimio alliance. Massive deflections have been witnessed with many urging that UDA is stronger than Jubilee in the Mount Kenya region.

In my opinion, the Mountain is yet to have a dominant party. Basing on the news from the ground, Ruto has a higher stake than Raila in the Mount Kenya politics. Despite Raila being strongly propelled by the rich Mount Kenya foundation led by Peter Munga and being backed up by President Uhuru Kenyatta, the ground is very wavy and is tilting to the Kenya Kwanza team. It should be remembered that the support of MCA’s and MP’s is what makes a party to be vibrant in a certain region.
