A good number of Kenyans are convinced that it could be true condoms are being washed and repackaged. However, many asked questions as to where did the recyclers get all those used condoms from, as it is rare to find a hip of used condoms in Kenya.

On close scrutiny from my online sources, I have found out that the attached video isn’t of Kenyan Origin. It dates back to the year 2020 when police in Vietnam blasted a ring of businessmen for packaging recycled condoms.

If it is true that the condoms in Vietnam were being recycled, that puts a question on some of the condom brands used in the market. The moral lesson to us is that before buying condoms, kindly ensure that they are KEBS approved and licensed.
