Russian-Chelsea Owner Abramovich’s Assets Frozen by Britain over Russia’s Invasion to Ukraine: We are hoping that you are having a good day in whatever part of the world you are reading this from. This week, Russia has invaded Ukraine and the news reaching our desk is that the Russian army is currently marching to the Ukraine’s capital. Russian hackers have too hacked the Ukraine systems and power losses have been reported. That aside, the effects of war have begun begin felt and this time round, Chelsea owner is the first casualty is Roman Abrahimovich.
Roman enjoys a duo citizenship from Israel and Russia. He served as a governor in Russia’s government. Further, Roman has assets spread across the world, especially in London Britain. He owns one of the most prestigious football clubs in the world, that is Chelsea. He purchased the club back in the year 2002 and has been very instrumental in its growth.
That aside, Roman has been in ”constant arguments” with the United Kingdom’s government as they constantly failed to renew his Visa card. Roman has been unable to attend games at the Stamford Bridge, London, but has been able to attend those played outside London, most recent one being the Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates.
However, this morning, Roman Abramovich has been officially barred from Living in Britain and his property worth billions of shillings frozen after the Britain’s government links him to the Russian Invasion of Ukraine. The Great Britain urgues out that Roman is one of the close allies of President Putin who are advising him to invade the Ukraine.
Roman will not have his Visa card renewed and his property and assets will remain frozen until the economic sanctions on him are lifted by the Britain Government. However, Chelsea football Club will remain in operation despite its owner being banned from Living in Britain.
